Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has updated the Unicorn 160 to meet the upcoming BSIV emission standerds. Dubbed as the Honda CB Unicorn 160, the successor to the not-so-popular CB Trigger was launched early last year. The 2017 Unicorn 160’s single-cylinder, 160cc mill outputs a peak power-torque of 13.82 BHP and 13.92 Nm. In comparison, te BSIII model offered 14.5 bhp-14.61 Nm. Aparet from a re-tuned engine, the Unicorn 160 also gets Auto Headlamp On and an updated visor. The 2017 Honda Unicorn 160 is also taller by 2 mm. Lastly, it gets a new Matte Blue paint option and new stickers for the black and red paint shades.

The new 2017 Unicorn 160 BSIV features Auto Headlamp On (AHO), an updated visor and a new Matte Blue paint option.
It maybe noted that the original Unicorn still has a fan following of sorts. The 160cc model, however, failed to tickle the taste buds of the bike buying lot. With the 2017 model, however, Honda could be hoping to leave a positive impact on the bike buyers in this segment. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India will soon launch BSIV models of its other products as well. Currently, the manufacturer sells the Unicorn 150, Unicorn 160 and CB Hornet in the 150-160cc segment.
