BMW is all set to unveil the most stylish and innovative 5-Series ever built at the New York International Auto Show and will be made available in the North American market soon.At the auto show the 5-Series will be sharing the stage with 335is Coupe and Convertible,BMW X5 SUV and BMW Alpina B7 xDrive .
The new 5-Series to be launched will be the sixth generation of its family and will feature innovation and style along with top end comfort and safety. The driving pleasure will be appreciable along with executive and athletic looks and collectively they reflect the standards maintained by one of the world’s finest premium car manufacturer.

Engine
The 5-Series variants will sport v-8, 6-cylinder inline gasoline MPFI engines along with the top end variant 550i featuring a “REVERSE-FLOW” V-8 engine with twin turbochargers and High Precision direct injection generating an enormous 400BHP. Similar is the case with 535i featuring a single twin-scroll turbocharger, High Precision direct injection and Valvetronic throttle-less intake technology combined with turbocharging for the first time.
