Volvo has launched its Volvo S60 sedan in Mumbai today. The S60 is priced starting at Rs. 27 Lakhs Ex-Showroom Mumbai. The S60 sedan is available in three different variants with Two engine options D5 and T6 engine. The D5 is a 5 Cylinder CRDI Diesel engine with a max power of 205 BHP and a torque of 420 Nm. The T6 is a 3 Litre, inline 6 cylinder engine with twin-turbo producing 320 BHP with 440 Nm torque which can make 0-100 KMPH in just 6.5 seconds !
Ever since after buying Reva, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mahindra Reva has been working extremely hard on the next generation electric car, Reva NXR which proves to be an improvement over the previous one. Maruti Suzuki Indian Ltd. sold one million cars in India last year, this year, it is expected to be 1.2 million which is a huge number. Maruti has its R&D center at Gurgaon and its manufacturing plants at Gurgaon and Manesar. The combined capacity of these two manufacturing plants is not enough for coming years, so moving ahead Maruti is going to open a new facility at Rohtak, in twice the area as its Gurgaon facility.
