Pune-based renowned Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto Ltd, has finally launched the much-awaited ABS variant of its Pulsar NS200 street-naked bike. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS price has been kept at Rs 1,09,715 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), which makes it roughly Rs 12,700 costlier than the non-ABS model. Other than the introduction of the ABS, there is absolutely no change in the specifications and the mileage of the motorcycle. It’s worth a mention here that the NS200 was taken off the shelves back in 2015. This was done to prevent product overlap due to the introduction of Pulsar RS200 and Pulsar AS200. The company relaunched the BS-IV-compliant NS 200 earlier this year and has finally come up with the much needed ABS version.
Like we said, there is absolutely no change in the specifications and the mileage. The NS 200 has been known to offer a good mix of performance and fuel average mileage. Things will be pretty much the same with the new ABS version. If anything, the bike just got safer due to the introduction of this safety feature. We have always liked this Pulsar for its beefy looks and bold styling. With the launch of the ABS model, this new-age Pulsar becomes an even better package. Here is all the important information on the new 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS model.
“Commenting on the introduction of the Pulsar NS200 ABS, Mr Eric Vas, President – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto Ltd said, We have received a large number of requests from our customers for ABS and hence we are extending it to the NS200 . Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS Design
The new ABS model of the Pulsar NS 200 looks exactly like the non-ABS variant. The 2017 Pulsar doesn’t look too different from the 200 NS that was launched way back in 2012. In its latest iteration, however, the bike gets more stylish due to the dual-paint colour schemes and stylish graphics. The NS 200 has always managed to impress us with its beefy design and a really bold exterior. The aesthetics seem to be inspired from the very loveable and instantly recognizable Honda CB1000R. While some of you might cry foul, we really don’t think it’s a bad idea because the NS200 looks just fantastic.
Several styling bits such as an engine cowl, stylish mag wheels, racebike-inspired tail cutter, LED taillamps, dual-tone paint schemes, and stylish graphics further make the bike more attractive. The new 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is definitely among the best looking motorcycles in its segment.
