Bajaj Auto India Limited has launched its ambitious ULC (Ultra Low Cost) Car (oops ! Four Wheeler) RE 60 in New Delhi India today. The Bajaj RE60 is based on a very small platform and can seat a maximum of 4 adults. The RE60 comes with a whooping mileage of 35 KMPL on petrol engine which makes it the most fuel efficient four wheelers running on a petrol Engine. The car uses a DTSi Petrol engine by Bajaj with 4 valves technology and liquid cooled configuration. It can achieve a top speed of up to 70 KMPL.

The Ultra low cost RE60 runs on a Liquid cooled low displacement DTSi Petrol engine with 4 valves per cylinder which delivers a mileage of 35 KMPL and achieves a top speed of 70 KMPL. The body of RE60 is metal-polymer combination which makes its weight very low and small form factor and small air drag makes it one of the most efficient and least polluting 4 wheeler or small car in India.
The seating capacity of RE60 is 4 passenger with 3+1 and 2+2 seat layout. The dimensions of RE 60 are as follows:

- Kerb Weight of 400 Kg
- 200 CC water cooled DTSi petrol engine
- Max power of just 20 BHP

The RE60 is meant for running inside cities and not meant for highway cruising. Compact form factor and low tuning radius make it apt for congested city traffic of Indian cities.
