The FZ-series of motorcycles enabled Yamaha to establish a firm foothold in the 150cc segment. The FZ-S is easily among the best in most areas and the V2.0 even gets fuel injection. Adding FI has pushed up costs and hence made it one of the most expensive in the segment. This is the major reason for this bike to be placed at the bottom of our list.

  2. I am a unicorn 160 user unicorn 160 top speed is incorrect the bike is very powerful it touches 0-100 in about 14-15secs and the top is 131kmph but the mileage reduces when u start to rip in the bike

    I visited Yamaha and Honda showroom as i was looking to buy a new 150 cc bike.. i took test ride of Honda hornet and FZ version 2 ..

    I liked FZ more in compare to Hornet, as its looks is more attractive.. But it seems that Yamaha FZ ‘s mileage is least as compare to Hornet and Suzuki Gixer.
    still i did’nt visit suzuki showrooom for gixer. Today morning i came to know through your article that gixer is very tough competitor of yamaha and honda..
    Please guide which bike will be more suitable in all aspects.

  9. Yamaha FZ is the best bike among the above. Don’t be fooled by these comparison. Go to the dealer and take a test drive. I am using Yamaha Fazer for last five years. Even today it’s run like a new bike.

  10. Hey this is Atul, and I am looking for 150cc sports bike with good all round road performance, looks and mileage. And specially bike with good suspension for long drive. I have test rided Honda hornet cb 160 and Suzuki zixer naked bike. I am a 5’10” tall guy please suggest. Honda hornet is muscular and tall than Suzuki but I came to know that zixer has good handling and performance and Honda has better mileage. Please suggest me which way to go

    moths….very good confert seat and stearing compare to yamaha fz-fi
    But i think gixxer is good beacuz it hase also gear indicater,time ,treap and good milage

  14. i want to buy a 150 cc bike with in one month in full payment. i recently sold my herohonda passon pro because of back pain and lack of smoothness in ride. plz suggest a good bike that is smooth to ride and doesnt make back pain. i am 42 years old. 6 ft height, 85 kg. less cost, good mileage, smooth ride are my preferences (less importance to look). i ride daily 15km to and fro (total 30) to office with my wife, via town ride. test ride of unicorn 150 made me less interested in it. i didnt like its sound…. please help
