General Motors is to add yet another product to its 2010 New York Auto Show line-up and this time the product comes from GM’s family tree member Cadillac which is quite popular for its CTS family products – CTS Sedan , CTS Sports Wagon , and CTS-V. The brand is now ready with a consolidated version of CTS Sports Wagon and CTS-V called the 2011 CTS-V Sports Wagon.
2011 Cadillac CTS-V Sports Wagon Specifications
As we have mentioned the car is a mixed variant incorporating qualities of both CTS Sports Wagon and Sedan and these qualities include the massive engine(currently coming with CTS-V sedan and coupe) as well which is a 6.2 Liter LSA V-8 engine capable of generating an enormous 556-Horsepower, and a maximum 551-pound-feet of torque.
The drivetrain comes coupled with either a 6-Speed Manual or 6-Speed Automatic Transmission gearbox and a bunch of other performance equipments have been highlighted which include:-
- Performance Algorithm Shifting
- Magnetic ride control
- Dual-cast aluminum/iron Brembo brakes
- Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires
- Forged aluminum wheels
The car from the exterior is very appealing with a new front fascia and a handful of other cosmetic changes including Signature V-shaped deck and tailgate motif,Large, vertical taillamps with light-pipe technology,Power-opening liftgate,CHMSL-integrated roof spoiler,Integrated roof load management system with available cross bars,Cargo management system with adjustable in-floor containment and Available panoramic UltraView sunroof.
