I bought a new Ritz couple of weeks back, it’s excellent and I feel great for my choice. It gives 19 km/pl on high way and 16/pl in city with AC. The smoothness of the engine is better than others in its class. With full load the performance of the engine is excellent, the shift from 2-3 is much better . The high seating position gives you great comfort while driving. The car is very spacious and excellent for elders to feel comfortable

Who cares if Beat has been approved as a 4 seater or a 5 seater. I got my delivery of Beat a couple of days back and let me tell you..5 people of average size easily fit in Beat. Infact I travel with 5 adults and 2 kids. Seating capacity wise I dont think there will be much difference in a Beat, Wagon R, i10 or even Swift for that matter. Boot space is certainly less but it has an option of 60:40 rear folding seat which is not present in some other cars like i10 and that should take care of luggage space if there are many bags and 2-3 passengers. For someone who has to travel with lot of luggage daily with 4-5 passengers, Beat may not be the right option but for all others..it is a cool car. It delivers a decent mileage in city of over 12 km.
As a matter of fact most of the maruti hatch are a 4 seater only.

Yupp good looking…. very good looking in fact say beat beats every other car in its segment in looks…. but looks is not the only reason to buy a car… no one is commenting on its good for nothing boot and good for 2 only back seat…

Beat is gorgeous !
this is d car for those who were waiting since long for their dream car in small segment. i simply suggest that have no second thought and go for Beat.
i assure you that UR every heart beat make you happy when you will be in the Beat. i would love to go for long drive with my favourite milky beat.

The only issue with beat and most critical to many buyers with family is that it is only 4 seater and has too small a boot. where in wagon R has 5 seating capacity with a huge boot very attractive and handy for those long trips or monthly shopping adventure.

As such there is no comparison between Beat and Wagon R. I dont know why is Maruti so pricey for all its cars when it does not have good interiors at all.
Ritz though it is good looking car but interiors are a plane jane. Wagon R has by far the worst interiors or dash board. A star perhaps saw some improvment in the dash board but the rear leg room is v.poor. Swift too does not have a very impressive dashboard either. None of them have beige interiors.
Interiors of Hyundai i10 is excellent. Beat should be compared to i10 or ritz and not wagon R. I dont know who would end up buying Wagon R in its present form and price.

I think Chevy Beat is the best bet now. WagonR is now an old warlord and is no more in the competition. Go for the Beat. I think Maruti Suzuki should lauch a newer WagonR on the same lines as they did for Estilo.
Somehow I feel that Chevy Beat has that X factor and would work out well for the re-energising General Motors. To say the least, GM India is doing much much better than GM anywhere across the world as also their service is improving. Yes.. they are still way behind Maruti Suzuki. But hey, its been 30 years since Maruti has been in India and its just about 6 years or so for GM. So, I guess ALL IZ WELL to go for Chevy Beat, the latest offering in hatch back segment.
