Comparison Between Honda CB Twister And Yamaha YBR

• First thing to consider is the price concerned with these bikes and as we see the Yamaha YBR stands out as its much cheaper than the Twister.
• Dimension wise both the bikes are quite similar and there is no need to count on this.
• Fuel Tank Capacity is definitely more for the YBR and hence the twister lags behind by nearly 5 liters which is a huge difference.
• In terms of power and torque the Twister turns the heads of its customers while the YBR follows it.
• Kerb weight for the twister is again lower than that of YBR by nearly 15KG.
• Considering the fuel economy the Twister surprisingly defeats the YBR by nearly 5 km/l which is nice.
• Acceleration of the Twister is better while the YBR’s engine is not quick at all giving the former the edge over the latter.
• Taking sharp turns with the Twister is certainly a treat whereas the YBR doesn’t performs well when it comes to cornering.
• The YBR comes with a luggage rack and an engine kill switch but lacks the important disc brakes while the Twister features optional disc brakes.

The new Suzuki Swift comes with the K12 Suzuki K series engine which is a 1200cc K series engine which is  same as in the existing generation of Maruti Swift. The transmission may or may not be changed as well the existing cable shift transmission and gear ratios are working out well in the existing generation.

The new Swift 2011 is taller than the existing Swift by about 155mm. This increase in length will add to more space inside swift and make it more appealing car to buy.

The width has also been increased from 1690mm to 1695mm which is not a considerable change. The height of the new Swift is 1510mm compared to 1530 mm of the existing swift which is slightly lesser in height. The wheelbase has been increased to 2430 mm compared to 2390 mm which will add to a better handling & performance.

The new tail light design extending to the sides and a much more attractive rear makes the visual appeal of the New swift much better. The clear crystal lamps at both front and rear makes it a beautiful looking car.

New Maruti Swift Interiors Vs Existing Swift Interiors

The interiors of the new style steering with improved central console, Integrated audio system, better interior space owing to the increased length of the car. The car will have better leg space for rear passengers. The quality of the plastic is also expected to become better to compete with rival cars of the same segment. The new seat fabric and door trims will give New Swift a new and more classy look compared to the existing swift.

The front console will have an auxiliary and a USB port built in for audio side by side with the charging slot.

All in all, the new Swift looks an even better package and will pose more competition to the cars like Hyundai i20 & other compact hatchbacks like Chevrolet Aveo UVA, Nissan Micra and Volkswagen Polo.

Price Of New Maruti Swift Vs Existing Swift

The price of the New Maruti Swift has not been declared in India. The launch is expected near January 2011. The price of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to be slightly higher than the the existing swift. The prices may start near  Rs. 5 Lakhs and onwards.

Nissan Micra Vs Hyundai i10 Kappa Exteriors

Styling of both these Japanese cars is really cool and trendy. Its been more than 2 years of the release of Hyundai i10, but the looks still look fresh to compete with newly launched Nissan Micra. The exteriors of Micra looks more rounded and pleasing to eyes compared with Hyundai i10.

Nissan Micra Vs Maruti Wagon R Exteriors

I find exteriors of both the cars good and elegant. The major difference is the structure of the two cars, the Wagon R is a tall boy design with low width and length, whereas the Micra is closer to a jelly bean design with a wide,long and low looks. To me, Micra appeals more because of its rounded curves and longer structure, which gives a feel of confidence and stability.

If you are looking for a high mileage car with moderate power, you can pick Wagon R, but I personally prefer powerful cars. Micra has a well refined engine which gives a good mileage too along with high power. It may not give as much fuel mileage as Wagon R, but I still would go for Micra.

Nissan Micra Vs Maruti Wagon R Interiors

In terms of Interiors, both are good, but Micra is much more luxurious and classy compared to conventional interiors of the Wagon R. The gadgetry of the Micra looks better and attractive. Although its difficult to decide which is better, i personally like the interior styling of Micra better. For taller people, I mean close to 6 feet height, Wagon R may feel better as the head room is really high, but for average height like mine, 5’7”, I like Micra to be more comfortable.

On the other hand, if you want a car with more mileage and lower initial cost, Wagon R is a good pick, especially with the refinements which have been done on it with the new model having K-Series engine.

One more important consideration is to check the availability of the Nissan Service center in your vicinity, if it is not readily available then its better to go with Maruti Wagon R.

Exterior styling of both Nissan Micra and Chevrolet Beat is beautiful and pleasing to eyes. I have recently compared New Maruti Wagon R Vs Chevrolet Beat. In this article I will compare Maruti New Wagon R with Ford Figo Petrol as they both lie in the similar price bracket and cater the similar segment of commuting needs.

New Wagon R Vs Ford Figo Exterior Styling

When it comes to exterior styling, these cars are contrast to each other with one being a tall-boy design and other being close to a wide jelly-bean shaped hatchback. Both have a visual appeal of their own and stylish in their own way. The front looks of Ford Figo are better in aesthetics compared to to new Wagon R, but from Side and rear, the Wagon R looks more attractive. The styling of both the cars are soothing and good looking. The Figo looks more aero-dynamic and free-flowing and is more pleasing to eyes compared to Wagon R.

If I have to pick one, I would pick Figo because I like wider cars more as compared to taller cars, but a tall person may like otherwise.

Also being smaller in displacement, the Wagon R engine is expected to deliver a better fuel mileage compared to that of Ford Figo.

From engine perspective, my vote goes to the Maruti Wagon R as there is not much difference in power of the two.

The dual tone interiors of New Wagon R look more classy and elegant as compared to the Ford Figo. The height and rear-leg space is much better in the Wagon R compared to Figo. Dashboard and steering wheel design are more attractive in Wagon R.

Ford Figo Interiors are not as attractive as the Wagon R, but the width of the car sets it apart in comfort level and elbow room when compared with the Wagon R. The seat fabric and Dashboard are in dual-tone, but the plastic quality is not-so-high.

In terms of looks, I will prefer Wagon R, but in case of elbow room Figo is a better deal. Also tall people will feel more comfortable in Wagon R because of high head space.

The price of Ford Figo is slightly on the higher side when compared with the Wagon R, although the difference is not considerably high, but Indian consumers always want more value for money with their purchases.
