GM May Sell Chinese Small Car Cheaper Than Tata Nano

India has marked itself a unique automobile market in the world with the glorious launch of Tata Nano by Tata Motors India. It has been a glorious tag which was recently challenged by the Chinese car Geely IG, but its still a concept, so the cheapest production car title still remains with Tata Nano. But title may not last long enough if the proposal between the General Motors and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) becomes a reality.

GM and SAIC may together launch a car to compete with Tata Nano in Indian market. The joint venture between GM (Chevrolet India) & SAIC will produce cars from Talegaon and Halol Plants in India.
