Ford Figo has truly transformed the sales number of Ford In India. More than any other car from Ford India, Figo has contributed the most to this whooping increase in sales. Ford has sold 83,887 cars in India in 2010 which was a mere 290,488 cars in year 2009. The sales of Ford Figo alone ever since its launch in March 2010 is over 60,000 units. Ford Figo has also been awarded Indian Car Of The Year 2011 recently.
On this splendid rise, Ford India Managing Director Michael Boneham quoted “This has been an outstanding year for Ford in India with nearly triple digit growth rates. It is also extremely encouraging to see the Figo sweep many prestigious industry awards and it is gratifying to see so many Figos on India’s roads”
