Tata Motors, which currently owns the brand Jaguar & Land Rover is planning to reduce the production cost of the JLR SUVs by producing them from China. China is a much cheaper alternative for producing cars when compared to Europe. This move may bring down the cost of the cars produces to a good extent and will give a cost advantage to Jaguar Land Rover.
CEO Calr Perter Fosters said that Tata Motors have annual production targets of 40000 vehicles by JLR. There is no official announcement of the timeline for this move. We will keep you updated of the same as soon as some official information is announced, so stay tuned in.
