KTM India has launched the 2017 Duke 250 along with new models of the currently available KTM Duke twins. The new KTM Duke 250 finds itself slotted between the new 2017 Duke 200 and the new 2017 Duke 390. The 2017 KTM Duke 250 features a 248.8cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor outputs a max. power of 31 BHP at 9,000 RPM and a peak torque of 24 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The engine boasts a DOHC layout and ultra hard, carbon-coated cam followers.
The 2017 Duke 250 has been built around a lightweight tubular trellis frame. Transmission duties are performed by a 6-speed manual gearbox that comes with slipper clutch. The 2017 KTM Duke 250 does not get ABS.

The 2017 KTM Duke 250 could have an average mileage of 35 KMPL. While buyers of bikes in this segment don’t have fuel efficiency as their top most priority, the Duke 250 will still impress by providing a good mix of performance and high fuel mileage.

2017 KTM Duke 250 Design
The 2017 KTM Duke 250 borrows plenty of design cues from the 2017 Duke 390. It gets a similarly aggressive headlamp. The headlamp for Duke 250, however, doesn’t get a split headlamp setup. Also, it misses out on LED fixtures and instead comes with a halogen bulb. The 2017 Duke 250 comes with sharp tank panels and a sleek tail. The new generation Dukes look a lot more modern, and the Duke 250 impresses like the other two low displacement Duke models. Unlike the Duke 390, the 2017 Duke 250 doesn’t come with a TFT speedo console. However, it does get a new LCD unit.
