All New Lexus CT 200h Hybrid To Debut At New York Auto Show 2010

Lexus has confirm in last week’s press release to display the sporty and versatile five-door dynamic CT 200h Hybrid in North America at the New York Auto Show 2010

This is not first time for Lexus will display Hybrid model but will be second dedicated and 6 in line-up hybrid vehicle. The Lexus CT originated from the concept model LF-Ch revealed at 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and engraved to optimize aerodynamic efficiency.

The all new Hybrid Lexus CT 200h equipped with 1.4 liters Inline 4 cylinder engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing With intelligence – CVVT-i and High output Permanent magnet electric drive motor which delivers total system power of 134 horsepower with Electrically controlled continuously variable automatic transmission (ECVT).

There are four driving modes are available.

1. EV
2. ECO
3. Normal
4. Sport

Lexus CT 200h has been specifically developed to combine superior handling agility and a sporty driving experience with the ride comfort. The Sport mode provides a more responsive throttle and modifies the Electronic Power Steering (EPS) settings to give a faster response to driver inputs.
