Toyota has announced BS4 emission norms compatible engine in the new Toyota Innova coming this April 2010. This is because of the new regulation of newer emission norms that Toyota had to upgrade its engine which was earlier compliant only up to BS3 emission norms.The new model of Toyota Innova will go on sales from April 1, 2010 in India.

New Toyota Innova will have a 109 BHP diesel engine with turbo intercooler for improved power and lower emission, this addition of a new intercooler has improved the power output of the engine by 5 BHP compared to the old one. The new Innova will also feature an improved catalytic convertor.
Price Of New Toyota Innova BS4
The price of the new Toyota Innova has been hikes by about Rs 15000 compared to the earlier variants due to the engine upgrade involved.

When will Toyota launch the Avanza in India? Seems they are just ben on revamping their old models only.
i want to know what are the difference between the older and new version and when it will be available at the showroom I am waiting for the new version for the last six month.

you can expect the new variant to be available in showrooms from first week of April 2010. The cost difference will be approximately Rs. 15000, you need to confirm with your local dealer for the exact difference.
Is the road tax or registration price are hiking from april if yes than how. I live in delhi.
Issue is nt the price or other costs …..issue is whether bs3 innvoa run on new bs diesel and what is in store for existing innova owners also we very well know our country ……….after buying bs4 engine vehicles…it will be hard to get bs4 diesel outside the 13 cities and running new engine on bs3 or low disel will be death for ur new car al d best …………
