Now a days every Global Majors are trying to firm their feet in the Indian Automobile Market and Nissan is following the same route and has launched its iconic sports car the 370Z in India. This car belongs to the 9 cars that Nissan Motors India Private Limited wishes to launch in India by 2012.
NMIPL’s Managing Director & CEO Kiminobu Tokuyam, said, “The 370Z has been conceived as an ‘Everyday Sports Car’, bringing to life the sweet spot of performance, style and value, which symbolizes the DNA of Nissan cars. We believe that 370Z will create an aspirational value for Nissan brand in the country as we gear up for the launch of our first made in India car in 2010.” The car is having a two seat layout which has been sculpted around a deeply scooped instrument panel and a full length centre console is designed which distinguishes the driver seat from the passenger’s seat. The rear comprising the cargo area is quite spacious with a good accessibility and enhanced storage.
The Nissan’s design team has taken up the ‘Layer Concept’ which emphasizes on incorporating the Information layer, a Holding Layer and an Operational Layer. All those people who love variety in colors the 370Z will be seen in 8 attractive colors with two interior leather color options (Persimmon Orange and Black) and it would be made available in both manual and automatic transmissions (A/T).
