Ford once used to be the king in the premium SUV territory with its only offering Ford Endeavour. Time changed and more companies stepped into the segment. Few weeks back, I attended the Great Ford Endeavour Drive organized in NCR region at Camp Wild at Aravali Valley in Dhaujj, it was a thrilling an enriching experience to get off roading tips from a very experienced and popular rally driver Jagat Nanjappa. The same drive is being organized at Chandigarh this weekends (on 5th and 6th November 2011), so if you are in or around Chandigarh and want to get some pure thrill and adventure, you must register for the Drive. Besides the drive, there are some other activities such as Fox Climbing, Rappling, Burma Bridge and Rock Climbing organized by Ford India. Ford India organized “The Great Endeavour Drive” for its customers and select media members to give a real off-road experience of the Ford Endeavour SUV at Camp Wild at Aravali Valley in Dhaujj on an adventurous track full of obstacles, steep slopes, sand, mud and lots of SUV action with experienced rally driver Jagat Nanjappa. We were given a ride in the Ford Endeavour by Mr. Nanjappa in which he shared some very helpful tips about off-roading and he also demonstrated some impressive capabilities of the SUV. After which we took the Endeavour for a spin on the same track.
