Ford has already announced that it will be launching eight new products in our market by 2015. Obviously the names of planned models are not known to us and as always we will keep our hopes high on upcoming potent models. The next model to this unconfirmed list is Ford’s latest MPV, Ford B-Max. The B-Max is a production ready model that will soon be showcased at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Ford EcoSport is the latest baby from this American major’s line-up and the most interesting thing about this compact SUV is its 1.0 litre turbocharged 3 cylinder Ford Ecoboost engine. Ford has announced that the same engine is soon going to come with Ford Focus European model. Mr Graham Hoare, Powertrain Director, Ford Motors Europe, said, “This 1.0-litre EcoBoost signals a new era of downsized, super frugal engines for the sub-130-horsepower segment. During development our UK engineers focused on improving thermal efficiency and reducing friction of the engine’s internal moving parts, especially during warm-up.” The engine is available in two options, 100 BHP and 125 BHP. Back in 2008, Ford came up with the Ford Fiesta hatchback. It was accepted with open arms and recorded good sales but since then the company did not bring any facelift model of the same, though everybody expected. Obviously the American major was planning something better and here it is, the 2013 Ford Fiesta Hatchback. The test mule was recently spied by one of the fellow blogs, WorldCarFans, and we are glad that finally if not new, at least something refreshing is due to come. Ford Ecosport SUV To Be Manufactured At Chennai Plant–Ford To Invest Rs. 750 Crore

The recently showcased Ford Ecosport compact SUV is actually creating a lot of buzz in the Industry and ever since it was displayed at the 2012 Auto Expo, the attention does not seem to be stopping. No doubt there is enough charm in the car to be liked by consumers here and considering the same Ford is now planning to do something that was expected, but not that soon. This US based firm is now planning to invest an appreciable Rs. 750 Crore in its Chennai plant in order to produce Ecosport compact SUV. Mr. Michael Boneham, President and Managing Director of Ford India announced this investment strategy of the company during an official meet with J.
