After long running disturbances between the management of Maruti Suzuki and it’s worker’s union, the brand has a reason to smile as it has launched the 2012 Maruti Swift Dzire. But the launch of the new car is expected to make the waiting period problem even worse. The company has already been dealing with lower production efficiency which has led to 2 months and approximately 6 months waiting period for 2011 Maruti Swift petrol and diesel respectively. We are sure the new car will be a hit in the market as the prices have been cut down and alongside the expected good sales, the car will also bring longer waiting periods. The company manufactures all of its models in the northern region and transports them to other states. To reduce this transit time and increase delivery of vehicles in the important regions of the nation the company is going to set up stockyard facility in Nagpur. Maruti Suzuki India Exports Rise Whooping 54.3% And Domestic Sales Up By 0.6% In January 2012

Maruti Suzuki India is recovering from the negative growth into a positive phase with the new year 2012. In the months on January 2012, Maruti Suzuki India Exports rose over 54% from 9321 units in 2011 to 14386 units in 2012 in the month of January. However, the domestic sales did not see such significant change, but a positive growth of 0.6% is seen as a good change from the previous months negative numbers. Maruti Suzuki India Limited sold a total of 115,433 vehicles in January, 2012 a growth of 5.2 %. This includes 14,386 units for export, a growth of 54.3%. Maruti Swift Dzire Old Model To Co-exist With A Different Name And Larger Boot

One of the most important information that we got to know from Maruti’s top management at the launch of Maruti Swift Dzire 2012 New Model in India is the fate of the old Swift Dzire. Since the new Swift Dzire comes with a smaller boot, it may not fit the needs of the cab / taxi operators who need large boot for commuting of passengers with larger luggage needs. To keep this in mind, Maruti Suzuki has announced that it will continue certain variants of older Swift Dzire along with the new Swift Dzire. Maruti Suzuki disappointed us at the 2012 Auto Expo as it was sure that the new MPV Maruti Ertiga will be launched but the Indian major instead unveiled it and announced that it will be launched in April.
