Nissan Micra Small Car & Sunny Petrol Sedan Price Hike- Effective From 20th January

First it was Maruti Suzuki that increased the prices of its cars and then recently it was Chevrolet who did the same and now the third brand to enter the price hike spree is Nissan. Nissan has announced a marginal price hike for its products including Nissan Micra small car and Nissan Sunny sedan. While for the Micra the price hike is valid for both diesel and petrol variants, the price hike for Sunny is only applicable on the petrol version and the Nissan Sunny diesel remains untouched. The price of Micra Petrol, including all three variants, will go up by Rs. 3000 while for Micra Diesel, including the two variants, the price will go up by Rs. 12,000. Chevrolet India Increases Car Prices By Up To Rs. 15000– Details Inside

Chevrolet (General Motors) India has announced an increase in the prices of Chevrolet Cars in India by up to Rs. 15,000 in India. The cars which are selling well in India has seen a hike in prices which includes small cars – Chevrolet Spark and Chevrolet Beat, MPV Chevrolet Tavera and luxury sedan Chevrolet Cruze. Other cars in the portfolio of Chevrolet India have not been touched. The Chevrolet Aveo, Aveo Uva hatchback (soon to be replaced by Chevrolet Sail hatchback) have not seen any price increase. Maruti Suzuki India Limited has indicated that it will be increasing the prices of its cars in India because of increasing input costs and depreciating value of Rupee against the US Dollar. The price increased has been made and varies between Rs. 2,400 to Rs. 17,300 across various car modes. Toyota India has indicated in an official statement that it is going to increase the car prices in the month of January 2012. There is no details revealed on how much the prices will increase on per-model basis, but there is sufficient indication on the range of price increase which will be between 1 % to 3 % of the price of the cars depending on which model it is.
