Volkswagen has many cars in its portfolio with technologies called BLUEMOTION technology and DSG automatic transmission as well as the manual transmission option. In this post, I will throw some light on Bluemotion and will also talk about DSG technology from Volkswagen.
Generally we talk about new cars or new variants getting unveiled but today we will talk about the next generation platform for future Volkswagen cars. Volkswagen, one of the biggest automobile manufacturer, yesterday unveiled an all new platform named as MQB which will be adopted probably in all the models being sold globally. Volkswagen India has launched the much awaited and expected Volkswagen Passat 2011 new model in India today. The new Passat features the 2 Litre Diesel engine with BlueMotion Technology. The starting price of Volkswagen Passat 2011 is Rs. 20.18 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The booking will start today and deliveries will begin in April 2011. The car comes in 5 colour options including White, Black, Pearl, Brown and Silver.
Volkswagen has launched an all new avatar of its popular sedan Volkswagen Passat in USA. The same car uplifted variant is expected in India near the end of the year 2011.
