Tata Motors, the leading manufacturer of Commercial vehicles & cars displayed their hatchback named Venture at Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi. Tata is going to be launch Venture soon.
The hatchback Venture is so designed that it can comfortably accommodate 8 passengers with plenty of luggage space. Overall length is less than 4 meters and has turning radius of 4.5meters. Venture is powered by 1.4 liter turbo charged CRDI diesel engine delivering 71PS of power@4500rpm & producing torque of 135Nm @ 2500rpm, has best class fuel efficiency among diesel MPV’s.
Interiors are much better than others in same range, Taking Safety, Drivers conformabilities under consideration Venture is designed with some of latest technologies i.e. Collapsible steering, Side impact beam, Power Steering, Power windows and many more these equipments makes Venture none other than a comfy car.

No official price released, but i expect this one to be placed between 4 to 6 lakhs.
Respected Sachin and Rohit. We all are waiting for the van to be launched. But no one knows whats the rate. One thing I can tell u is as far as I read. It is compared with maruti eeco, which is 2.75/- but if compared tata will be much advanced so according to me it will be around 4L. If it goes above 4 then may be the demand will be not to expectation. Secondly the width is around 1500mm which is less than Vista which is 1698mm around. So again venutre second and third row may not be comfortable for 3 people. Then it will be better to buy Vista or Ignis. Personally I am interested in Venture.
Eeco is no where near this one. Also, it is diesel. So I see expect it to be near one lakh more than Eeco in that regard also. Plus with all the specifications and luxuies, the cost is just. Well, certainly will be above four. All other TATA vehicles launched at Xpo have been released including Aria. But why no news at all from TATA on this one ?
I have checked out the features of eeco and venture. Both look good and can be real competition for eachother.Torque is more in eeco but.Personally I prefer tata cars like their manza and drivetech4 which seem to be getting great reviews.
I hope Tata adds another rear door to the production version, or else, imagine loading an 8 seater variant through a single rear door, if not a single rear door should at least be on the options list, as customers would be willing to spend a bit more for a feature which should have been standard, i just cant fathom the logic behind them offering just a single rear door, that too being a 7 and 8 seater.

I took TATA Venture’s test ride, it’s good in this class. comfortable, good luggage space,good mileage 19 (with out AC)and 17 with AC, and prices is not too. overall it’s good passenger and family car.

I am glad that you could have a test ride of TATA Venture. I am personaly mad about this Van. I have waited to know about this van since it was first shown as a concept van on net. Glad to hear that U got a test ride. Sir there are a couple of Q’s I would like to ask, would U pls…. How is the van for long run? What do U think about the space, is comfortable for 2-3-3 Adults. What is the leg space on the 3rd row? Is there space for a big bag e.g 4′x 3′ (people comming from abroad. How about the comfrot, riding on rough (Mumbai potholes roads. Do U have any slightest idea, when this van going to launch or when I can see it on road? What will be the price of on Road? Last but not the least. After all these test and test rides, how do U feel this van will perform ( it took over a year to come on road, & I heard that tata’s are still doing test run, so now how do U feel about the van after all these test for over a year.
Hope I have not eaten ur time and B. Pls can u advice if I should go for it after waiting all these years or start thinking about mahindra’s van collabration with chineese firm.

i am operating maruti omni as call taxi in coimbatore.i am a part time owner cum driver.nowadays i feel very much worry about the price and milege output from AUTOLPG.this venture will boost my self carrier.but only its price and service backup will match my budget.my expecting price tag is 3,50,000 on road.

With due respect to your taxi service. I feel that this Venture van will not be less than 4K as for the following reasons. First the cc and bhp is more, its spacious and has real modern aminities, as per the company, its sturdy and has s bar for protection, etc. But any way if it comes around less than 4K I tooo will be the person to buy it for personal use. HOPE TATA’S READ THIS AND LAUNCH THIS VAN BY DEC 2010 END (BOOKING). And hope it wont be like NANO.
TATA’s we all are waiting for your van to BUY so pls concentrate on venture too……sorry for NANO flop..

Those who are really interested in TATA VENTURE. The van has been launched in Maharashtra and some of the auto companies are also taking the booking for this van, the pricing of this tata van as per the tata authorized dealers in maharashtra is 4.5 & 5.12 lakhs ex-showroom thane as this van is BSV 3 stage and only BSV 4 stage can be registered in Mumbai Pune & Nagpur. With respect to on road pricing it will be 5.15 & 5.70 lakhs all over Maharashtra. (Dont you feel that the pricing is a bit toooo expensive) If this is the real pricing why not eeco with 7-8 seater and having ac fitted to it. Even some of the cars like frod figo, micra, new swift,it will still cost less than venture. HOPE SOME OF THE TATA PLANNERS ALSO READ THIS. I am following this van for the past 1.6 year it was said that it will compete eeco as said by the company. when it was first shown on auto expo but a huge failure. Now I feel I was fooled by TATAs which said they will compete it with eeco & M&M maximoo MPV /MUV. I still feel if TATAs reduce the rate to 5 lakhs on road instead of 5.70 I would still like to go for it as this van is really good as per Dr.Jatin K. Pal on December 7, 2010 at 12:11 pm in his article. I even had said, it would cost not less than 4 lakhs. Hope in March 2011 after budget TATAs will revive the pricing to 5 or less than 5 for GX model. there are in total three variant namely CX, EX & GX (TOP VARIANT). HOPE FOR THE BEST FOR TATAS. Can ny 1 answer about the rear RHS door? Some reviews say the that this car does not have a rear RHS door. Dr.Jatin K. Pal, i request u to put some light on tis query since u were lucky to have a test drive.

I had inquired about this van in mumbai, where I was told that, tata finance does not finance for this van as this van is new and secondly when asked why this step brotherly treatment as there is discounts on vista and nano cars and not for venture, there was no answer. The only answer is this van is new. I even asked as there is a scheme by tata finance for 100% finance on ex showroom or 90% on road that too was not answered and again the same answer THIS IS A NEW CAR AND HENCE. If such type of behavior is there than how can they think of promoting this van. Secondly I dont think this van will ever be a hit due to its higher pricing and nonavailability of finance in-spite of TATA finance being it own sister concern company. Lastly to top it all our budget is also recommending a rise in price on D engine. So what next can we afford it or can we book it now ?
