Talking about the engine variants the Audi A1 is being offered with four different engines including two TFSI gasoline engines and the other two TDI diesel generating power that ranges from 86BHP to 122BHP. The new 1.2 liter TFSI engine generates 86BHP and a maximum torque of 160Nm in a range of 1500 and 3000 rpm. This 4- cylinder engine sprints the A1 from 0-100kmh in 12.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 179km/h and has been coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission. It burns nearly 5.1 liters of fuel per 100 km, which emits only 119 grams of CO2/km when driven under the EU cycle.
The 1.4 TFSI increases the power to 122BHP with a peak torque 200Nm which is measured between 1500 and 4000 rpm and is coupled with a seven speed S tronic gearbox making the car reach its first 100km/h in just under 9.1 seconds with a top speed of 200km/h. The 1.6 TDi unit being more powerful than the petrol variant produces 105 BHP and a torque of 250 Nm between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm, which is coupled with a five-speed manual transmission pushing the car to 100km/h in 10.8 seconds with a top speed of 187km/h. And as there were two diesel engines, the second one delivers 90BHP and a torque of 230 Nm between 1,500 and 2,500 rpm coupled with five-speed manual transmission gearbox accelerating the car from 0-100km/h in 12.2 seconds reaching a top speed of 179km/h and offers an astonishing 3.8litre/100km of fuel economy corresponding to 99 grams of CO2 emission every kilometer.

The Price hasn’t been revealed for all the variants but according to Audi the entry level variant of Audi A1 will come with a price tag of US $22000.
