Toyota Etios Liva Special Edition Launched


The Toyota Etios Liva has been around in the Indian car market since 2011 and while the hatchback has been a pretty popular choice among taxi buyers and fleet operators, it has been unable to find much favor among buyers looking for hatchbacks for personal mobility. With the festive season kicking off soon, car buyers will be flocking to dealerships which is exactly what Toyota wants to cash in on and the Japanese giant has introduced a new special edition of the Etios Liva to this effect. Powering the Toyota Etios Liva are the same set of petrol and diesel engines as its sedan sibling. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2 litre motor which puts out 79 bhp of peak power and 104 Nm of peak torque. The diesel variant is powered by a 1.4 litre motor which makes 67 bhp of power and 177 Nm of peak torque. Both units come mated to 5-speed manual transmissions. Mileage for the diesel Liva stands at 23.59 kpl and for the petrol at 17.71 kpl.
