Hyundai Creta convertible rendered; looks spicy hot!

In this rendering, we have the Hyundai Creta Convertible. Frankly, the topless SUV looks much better than the regular Creta.

We all have a dream to own a Convertible car and take it down for a roadtrip, just like in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Convertibles are fun to drive, however not for your daily commuting.

As of now, most of the convertibles are made out of a sedan. There are very few hatchbacks and as of now, only 1 convertible SUV in production. Range Rover Evoque is also offered as a convertible.

So, here we have a rendering of another convertible SUV. Hyundai Creta Convertible looks drop-dead gorgeous with its topless body and equally striking looks. The recent facelift gave Creta a sportier look than the earlier one.

Hyundai Creta is the most popular SUV in its segment and every month is makes to the top 10 selling cars of India. Buyers prefer the SUV because of premium features offered around Rs 15 Lakhs.

Coming back, Hyundai Creta Convertible has some similarities with Evoque convertible. At the front, it gets an all-black grille connecting the LED DRLs on either end. The headlamp sits on the bumper, just like it is seen on Harrier. With the headlamps, the fog lamps are also housed.

From the side, there are some minor changes. Hyundai Creta Convertible comes in the regular 4-door avatar. However, you might notice that the diamond-cut alloy wheels have become for aggressive than ever.

Keeping the fun part aside, maintaining and producing a convertible in very difficult. To maintain its structural integrity and safety of the passengers, it is made extra heavy along with strengthened base. Plus the electric folding rooftops are costly to maintain.

The prices of Creta start off at Rs 10 Lakhs going up to Rs 15 Lakhs. It competes with the likes of Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio, upcoming Nissan Kicks, upcoming Kia SP Concept and Tata Harrier.
