Maruti Suzuki Alto new Accessories; Online Configurator launched

Maruti Suzuki has launched new accessories for the Alto. Customers can now personalize their car through Maruti Suzuki’s new online configurator which even offers 360 degree view of the car.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a range of external and internal accessories for their best selling hatchback, the Alto. Just after a month of the launch of the new Alto facelift, customers can now customize their cars with the new accessories through an online configurator by clicking the ‘Personalize’ option on the Maruti Suzuki Website. The link opens up to a configurator page where users can view the accessories on their cars in 360 degree view and save the configuration.

Existing customers can choose from range of external and internal accessories directly. New Maruti Suzuki Alto customers can entirely build the car on the configurator, from choosing the powertrain option, the color of the car to the packages, personalization options and accessories.

Even the prices for each of the packages and accessories are displayed alongside. That’s quite a convenient feature and helps the customer customize the car according to their budget. The 360 degree view provides good perspective on how a particular package or accessory would look on the car and based on that, they can add or remove accessories.

The new exterior accessories for the Alto include front grille garnish, bumper corner protector & garnish, fog lamp garnish, body graphics, door visor, ORVM garnish cover, rear spoiler, tail lamp garnish, and back door garnish. As for the interiors, there are two styling themes to choose from – Boston Mapple and Carbon Finish. Other interior accessories include illuminated door sill guard and floor mats.

All these accessories are mainly cosmetic and add to the visual appeal of the car. However, accessories like the rear spoiler and the bumper protectors have a functional aspect. Once personalized, customers can save the configuration and get a final quote for their build. However, the actual prices at the dealership might be slightly higher as labor costs and taxes are not included in the configuartor.
