Renault unveiled the Triber here in India last month which is a completely new car based on a modular platform of the Kwid. The Triber is very interesting for what it is – it’s sized like a premium hatchback – less than 4 meters – but looks like an MPV and has seven seats. Ahead of its launch in August, the accessories brochure for the Renault Triber has been leaked on the internet.
The Renault Triber will have four main accessories package and an additional ‘Upgrade Pack’. The four accessories packages are : Essential Pack, SUV Pack, Urban Pack and Chrome Pack. Here’s a detailed list of each of the features that would be available with each of the accessories package.
There’s also an ‘Essential Pack’ which does not particularly mention about any feature but it does say that this pack has been designed for enhanced aesthetics and improved comfort and convenience.
Apart from these accessories packages, the Renault Triber also gets individual add-on accessories which are available across the range such as :
Furthermore, there’s another Upgrade Pack which essentially allows you to add features from a higher trim on to a base trim.
We had already reported on the trim levels of the Triber. It would be available in four different trims – RXE, RXS, RXT and RXZ. The Triber will use a 1.0L three-cylinder engine that churns out 71bhp and 96Nm. The engine will come paired to a five-speed manual gearbox and a five-speed Easy-R AMT. It is expected to be priced between Rs 5-7 lakhs (ex-showroom).
