Skoda India had a great November 2011 in terms of car sales. Amidst the slowdown in the auto industry due to high interest rates, fuel prices and weak economic growth Skoda managed a wonderful growth of sales by 43% by selling 2627 units in month of November 2011 compared to the 1841 units sold in November 2010. A big credit goes to the newly launched Skoda Rapid and new version of more affordable Skoda Fabia hatchback which is doing decent sales for Skoda India.

We already have over 1600 booking o far and the response to the Rapid ha been phenomenal. We are excited and confident about our plan and promise to offer the bet value to our customer.”
Skoda is the first automotive brand in the country to bring transparency in the buying process through its unique customer web portal. The Skoda Rapid can be booked and tracked online through the company owned online portal. Skoda had received 18 bookings for the Rapid within one hour of the commencement of the Online Booking Engine.
