The popular Yamaha R15 V3 might get the racing livery soon, which was recently seen on the R125. It will demand a hike over the current price of Rs 1.39 Lakhs.

A lot of you might remember the jazzy Yamaha motorcycles in the MotoGP Livery. With this, you might also know that Monster Energy is the main sponsor for the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer.

Yamaha recently unveiled the R125 in the Monster Energy MotoGP Livery, inspired by the actual MotoGP style. The same livery is reportedly coming on the Yamaha R15 V3 in the coming months.

R15 V3 Moto GP Edition might come as a limited variant in India. Before the launch of R15 ABS, it was available in the Moto GP Livery in Blue colour. It demanded Rs 5,000 more than the regular colours, which might be the same case with the current model.

Above the air vent on the front, there is a big ‘Monster’ decal below a small ‘Eneos’ decal. On the side and front fender, you get the logo of Monster Energy. The fuel tank is covered in Blue, while rest of the portion comes in Black.

Since Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales are from Yamaha in Moto GP, ’46’ and ’12’ numbers also make their way on the MotoGP livery.

Other than this, the R15 is also available in three different colour options – Thunder Grey, Racing Blue and Darknight. The latter was recently launched with the ABS update.

Mechanically, it will continue with the same 155cc liquid-cooled DOHC single-cylinder engine, that delivers 19.1 BHP and 14.7 Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
