Only 250 units of Nissan Terrano Groove Limited Edition to be sold

The Indian subsidiary of Nissan today launched a limited edition of its popular Terrano compact SUV. Dubbed as the Nissan Terrano Groove limited edition, the new model is largely based on the XL(O) trim. To mark the launch of the Terrano Groove, Nissan has also announced a new advertising campaign featuring Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who will star in a ‘groovy’ television commercial based on music and dance. Speaking on the association, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd added, “With the Groove edition, we wish to target younger customers and opted for an energetic campaign around contemporary music and dance. Sushant Singh Rajput was an obvious choice as his young, athletic and dynamic personality perfectly complements the Terrano while his exceptional dancing skills make him perfect for grooving alongside the car”.

The new Nissan Terrano Groove Limited Edition model is priced at INR 11.45 lacs (ex-Showroom, New Delhi).

Among the highlights of the new Nissan Terrano Groove Limited Edition model’s features list are – Rockford Fosgate audio components, ambient lighting, LED scuff plats and new floor mats. Visual updates for the car include a black-wrapped roof and chrome appliques for the foglamps, the taillamps and the boot-lid. Nissan has claimed that these features addition, which are being offered at no extra cost, are worth INR 30,000.



Powering the Terrano Groove is the tried and tested 1.5-litre four-cylinder K9K turbocharged diesel engine that comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission and pumps out a maximum power of 85 PS and a peak torque of 200 Nm. The Terrano Groove has an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 20.45 km/l.

Commenting on Nissan’s latest limited edition, Guillaume Sicard, President – Nissan India Operations said, “The Terrano has established itself as a stylish premium compact SUV, which is equally at home in the outdoors as it is in the urban cityscape. With the Groove edition, we want to reach out to individuals who like their cars to reflect their dynamic lifestyle. We are confident that the new additions will make the Terrano even more appealing to them.”
