First launched back in the year 2002, the Dio is the most stylish scooter in Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India‘s (HMSI) arsenal. Honda has always marketed the Dio as a ‘moto-scooter’, which, together with a sleek, stylish body and a peppy motor, has attracted the trend-setting youth. Now, to commemorate the Dio’s entry into the exclusive million Customers club, the manufacturer has launched a new Matt Axis Grey colour option along with a new 3D emblem as updates for the 2016 model. Apart from the Indian market, the 2016 Honda Dio will be also sold in Colombia, Mexico, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Speaking as the dispatches for the new Dio commenced, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd said, “In line with Honda strategy to delight our customers by refreshing our product portfolio regularly, the new Dio is Honda’s sixth new model of 2016. The new Matt Axis grey colour with value addition of the premium 3D emblem without any additional cost makes it a compelling proposition to own one.” This is the second set update for the Dio since last year.
