The 2017 Bajaj CT 100 comes with the same 99.27 cc single-cylinder engine that came with the earlier bike. However, this engine is now BSIV compliant. It outputs a maximum power of 8.2 PS @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm @ 4,500 rpm. The engine has been mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The bike can achieve a top speed of 90 kmph.
The CT 100 gets a standard telescopic forks up front and a twin spring-in-spring (SNS) setup at the rear. It gets 110 mm drum brakes at both wheels.
