The new model 2017 RE Thunderbird 500 in on sale for a price of Rs 1.82 lakh in New Delhi. Thanks to the new norms from the Government of India, the T’bird 500 now comes with a BSIV compliant engine and Always-On Headlamps. It may be noted here that it has new become mandatory for all Indian two-wheelers to have these a BSIV engine and Always-on Headlamp.

However, for the 2017 TB 500, it has been updated to meet BSIV emission norms. This engine produces a max. power of 27.2 BHP and a peak torque of 41.3 Nm. It comes to a 5-speed Manual Transmission.
