The latest version of theย Honda Activa 5G gets an all-LED headlamp with position light and new colour options. The standard version of the new Activa 5G retails for INR 52,460 and the Deluxe version will cost INR 54,325.
Honda Two Wheelers India has been in direct competition with the automaker it was once associated with. While Hero snatched the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world tag from Honda, the competition is far from over. Honda, meanwhile, kept working on various strategies and its scooter Activa has been awarded the most selling scooter in India. In its latest generation, the Activa 5G was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.ย Honda Activa 5G has now been officially launched starting at a price of INR 52,460. Honda Activa 5G – New Headlamp
The new Activa 5G gets a new LED headlamp offering better and more efficient illumination. Since all two-wheelers have to feature AHO, most automakers are shifting to LED illumination as its drains less battery while giving similar output to the halogen lamp. On top of the new headlamp is an LED DRL strip which improves road presence and is distinguishingly tasty.

Honda Activa 5G – New Colours
Apart from the usual 6 colour options offered on the scooter, theย Honda Activa 5G brings in two young and peppy shades. The Dazzle Yello Metallic and Pearl Spartan Red are the new colours. These two new shades enhance the appeal of the scooter while making it stand apart from the crowd.
Honda Activa 5G – Miscellaneous Changes
Apart from the changes mentioned above, the updatedย Honda Activa 5G borrows a few popular functions from its sibling Grazia. Customers particularly loved the 4-in-1 hook with the seat opener on the Honda Grazia and the same feature has been added to the newย Honda Activa 5G as well.

Honda Activa 5G – Drivetrain
At the heart of the newย Honda, Activa 5G remains the same 109 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The engine makes 8 bhp of max power and 9 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to the same CVT gearbox. The engine and gearbox combo pushes theย Honda Activa 5G to a max speed of 83 km/h. The Activa is known for its fuel-efficient drivetrain and the same carries over with claimed fuel efficiency of 45-50 km/l.

Honda Activa 5G – Competition
