The compact SUV is one of the highest-selling products in this competitive space
The upcoming 2025 new-gen Hyundai Venue has been partially leaked ahead of its November 4 launch. Venue has been among the most popular products in the compact SUV segment in our market for years now. First launched in 2019, the SUV has continued to attract new customers. I must credit the Korean auto giant for constantly keeping it up-to-date. It has ensured that it remains a hot product despite new and worthy rivals. However, a new-gen model is due and we will get it within a month.
2025 New-Gen Hyundai Venue Leaked
The latest images partially reveal the front section of the new-gen Venue. Meanwhile, the featured image seen here is an AI-generated pic based on the aforementioned leaked image. In the former, I can’t help but notice the faint reminiscence of Hyundai’s premium global models like the new Santa Fe. This is particularly evident due to the colossal grille, which is finished in a sporty black theme. On the edges of the grille, you will find vertical LED DRLs along with rectangular LED headlamp consoles with the upper part of the LED DRLs and turn indicators on the edge of the bonnet. I also like the sturdy touch with the skid plate, even though hardly any user will take it to hardcore off-roading locations.
In any case, it enhances the road presence and the butch stance, something car owners love. Going by some previous spy images, we know that most of the side profile will remain identical to the existing model. That is not necessarily a bad thing since the current version looks handsome. From years of being in this industry, I have no reason to believe that Hyundai won’t equip the new Venue with all the latest bells and whistles on the inside. This will include modern tech, connectivity, convenience, and active and safety amenities. Having had a premium hatchback from Hyundai for over 10 years myself, I know that most people love this aspect about Hyundai cars. They are easily the most feature-laden in their respective segments.
Expected Specs
We know that the Hyundai Venue is available with petrol and diesel mills, along with manual and automatic transmissions. That has been one of its strongest aspects. Potential customers with all sorts of requirements can opt for the ideal engine-transmission combination. Apart from that, my experience of driving Hyundai cars for years now confirms that the 4-cylinder petrol mill is great for comfortable rides for the family, the turbo petrol is ideal for driving enthusiasts, while the familiar diesel engine is a preferred choice for all those who want low running costs. Overall, I am sure that the Korean car marque will continue to power the Venue with all these engines and gearbox options.

While the Hyundai Venue has been among the most well-sorted options in the sub-compact class, its relatively smaller cabin has been an Achilles’ heel. That’s something I clearly pointed out in my last review of this Maruti Brezza-rival. Meanwhile, the leaked image above clearly hints at an evolutionary transformation. However, we’re yet to get a look at the dimensions and the space on offer. A more spacious cabin, coupled with Hyundai’s usual segment-best quality and equipment standards, should give the next-gen Venue a shot in the arm.
