The compact SUV is one of the highest-selling products in this competitive space
Updated 24.10.2025 – Hyundai has officially teased the upcoming new-gen Venue, with the debut announced for November 4. In the brief teaser, the front section of the compact SUV is showcased with a dark background. There is a connected LED strip, which runs the width of the face. These extend to the lower end of the fascia as thick LED DRLs, flanking the square LED headlamp consoles. In the middle, we see a massive grille. All these components enhance the road presence of the car and also make it look distinct in comparison to the current-gen model.
Updated 23.10.2025 – The new-gen Hyundai Venue was caught performing road test on the Dwarka Expressway in the latest spy images from Aayush Sheokand. We know that the launch is slated for November 4. In this video, we are able to witness the tail end of the compact SUV. It carries a modern appearance with LED taillamps connected via a black panel. The prominent bits include a shark fin antenna, a sturdy skid plate under the bumper and functional roof rails. The high-mount stop lamp and black elements on the bumper along with the reflector lights complete the look.
Updated 22.10.2025 – Days after the second-gen Hyundai Venue was seen completely uncovered in spy media from South Korea, the upcoming model has now been spotted undisguised in India. These visuals are courtesy MRD Vlogs, which came across the vehicle parked near a coffee shop at an unspecified location. Interestingly, the India-spec model looks almost akin to the version seen on the carmaker’s home turf. Also, by now, it’s well-established that the next-gen Venue would look and feel half a shoe size larger than the outgoing version. This could pretty much address the current version’s Achilles’ heel. As experienced by me during my test drive, the small dimensions of the first-ten model translate into a rather cramped rear. This, aside from the fact that the smaller footprint makes the Venue look almost the size of an Exter. The next generation, however, certainly looks as big as, say, a Brezza in the spy images we’ve seen so far.

Updated 21.10.2025 – The latest spy images encapsulate the sporty N-Line iteration of the soon-to-be-launched new-gen Hyundai Venue. At the front, we witness distinct LED DRLs on the extreme edges of the bumper and bonnet with a massive grille section in the centre. The sleek black panel between the upper section of the DRLs infuse a sense of sportiness. The main LED headlamp cluster is nestled between the DRLs, while the bumper possesses a rugged feel. What gives away the N-Line specifics are the red inserts on the bumper and side body claddings. Apart from that, the alloy wheels are elegant and modern. Finally, the dual exhaust pipe setup at the rear confirms the N-Line credentials.

We know that the driving enthusiasts love to go for the N-Line iteration of Hyundai cars like the Venue and i20. These variants offer a slightly more enticing proposition than the regular version without the burden of an extravagant price tag. A few minor alterations result in a vehicle, which is geared specifically towards car lovers. The sales numbers have been decent for the Korean auto giant to continue to sell the N-Line trim even with the next-gen model.
Updated 17.10.2025 – The upcoming compact SUV was seen plying on the road in the latest video. It carries updated styling and a more imposing road presence despite being under 4 m in length. Also, the new-age elements include a sleek and distinct front fascia with a rugged skid plate, new aero alloys on the sides with muscular wheel arches and a connected LED light bar, joining the LED taillamps at the rear. Other prominent bits are a shark fin antenna, functional roof rails, silver skid plate and a sporty bumper.
The upcoming 2025 new-gen Hyundai Venue has been leaked ahead of its November 4 launch in South Korea. Venue has been among the most popular products in the compact SUV segment in our market for years now. First launched in 2019, the SUV has continued to attract new customers. I must credit the Korean auto giant for constantly keeping it up-to-date. It has ensured that it remains a hot product despite new and worthy rivals. However, a new-gen model is due and we will get it within a month.
2025 New-Gen Hyundai Venue Spotted
The latest images completely reveal the exterior styling of the new-gen Venue. At the front, the fascia contains a bold appearance with sleek LED DRLs on the edges of the bonnet, which are connected via an LED light bar encapsulated into a glass panel. The face is neatly bifurcated with the lower section carrying a colossal grille with prominent LED headlamps positioned on the sides. It looks like even this module bears integrated LED DRLs. Finally, the lower section of the bumper bears a rather butch skid plate section, which elevates the imposing traits of the compact SUV.
Moving down the sides also reveals a familiar silhouette but with a few distinct modifications to set it apart from the existing model. There are handy roof rails, muscular contours on the front and rear fenders, solid cladding around the squarish wheel arches and side door panels and elegant new alloy wheels, which look to be inspired by the aero alloys available on Hyundai EVs. Finally, the tail end contains a connected LED light bar with LED taillamps on either side, reflector lights on the bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler, a shark fin antenna and an adventurous skid plate to round of the sporty vibe. All in all, the vehicle is clearly thoroughly updated and is bound to attract new buyers.
Expected Features and Specs
We know that the Hyundai equips its products with all the latest bells and whistles. The new Venue will be no different. It will carry dual 10.2-inch curved displays (for driver’s instrument cluster and the main infotainment screen), 360-dgree camera, ADAS, dual-zone climate control, ventilated and powered front seats, wireless smartphone charging, rear AC vents, type-C USB ports, etc. At present, the Venue is available with petrol and diesel mills, along with manual and automatic transmissions. That has been one of its strongest aspects. Potential customers with all sorts of requirements can opt for the ideal engine-transmission combination. Apart from that, my experience of driving Hyundai cars for years now confirms that the 4-cylinder petrol mill is great for comfortable rides for the family, the turbo petrol is ideal for driving enthusiasts, while the familiar diesel engine is a preferred choice for all those who want low running costs. Overall, I am sure that the Korean car marque will continue to power the Venue with all these engines and gearbox options.

While the Hyundai Venue has been among the most well-sorted options in the sub-compact class, its relatively smaller cabin has been an Achilles’ heel. That’s something I clearly pointed out in my last review of this Maruti Brezza-rival. Meanwhile, the leaked image above clearly hints at an evolutionary transformation. However, we’re yet to get a look at the dimensions and the space on offer. A more spacious cabin, coupled with Hyundai’s usual segment-best quality and equipment standards, should give the next-gen Venue a shot in the arm.
