The Indian auto giant has been releasing teaser videos of the upcoming Altroz facelift for a few days now
The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift was officially teased ahead of the official launch. The visuals capture a few new elements on the outside, as well as inside. Altroz is a popular premium hatchback, which rivals the Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 in India. Despite stiff competition from the compact SUVs, this segment has been performing decently well on the sales charts in the last few years. As a consequence, Tata Motors has decided to upgrade the Altroz to entice new buyers.
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Teased
The video stems from the Tata Motors Cars channel on YouTube. We see a 15-second clip, where the silhouette of the vehicle is demonstrated. In any case, the front fascia is clearly visible. It houses a few new components, including sharp LED headlamps, angular bumper, 3D grille, etc., which lend it a more modern and sporty stance. Apart from that, the Altroz facelift will even boast flush-fitting door handles, a first for this segment. At the rear, it will get the connected LED taillamps.
The teaser has also given the viewers a glimpse of the interior layout. This includes a sleek and minimalist dashboard configuration with new AC vents, a new digital instrument cluster and infotainment display along with the two-spoke steering wheel. These will ensure that the owners get a fresh appearance. In addition, the other bits include a 360° camera, voice-enabled sunroof and more. The launch is slated for May 22, while the premium hatchback will be revealed on May 9. The test drive will commence on May 25. More details will emerge in the coming days.
Specs
There won’t most likely be any changes to the powertrain options with the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift. It will continue to carry 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2-litre turbo petrol, 1.5-litre turbo diesel and 1.2-litre Bi-fuel (petrol + CNG) engines. Furthermore, customers will get the choice of manual and automatic transmissions to suit their needs. I shall keep an eye out for more details in the coming days.
