The French auto giant is planning some massive updates to its Indian portfolio with updated products, as well as new models, in the coming months
In this post, we discuss the 3 upcoming Renault cars for the Indian market. Renault has been doing pretty well on the sales charts in the last couple of years. This is due to the massive popularity of its value-for-money products. These include cars like the Kwid, Kiger and Triber. All these offer great value in their respective segments in comparison to their peers. That is what has attracted loads of price-conscious buyers. For now, let us check out which new cars will arrive in India in the immediate future.
3 Upcoming Renault Cars
Triber Facelift
The first vehicle to receive a facelift in Renault’s camp will be the Triber. Note that it is one of the most affordable 3-row MPVs in the country. That has been its appeal since the beginning (2019). The sub-4m MPV comes with all the basic features and technology, along with manual and transmission options to fit the needs of all sorts of buyers. With the facelift, I expect the cabin to bear a few fresh elements along with more new-age features. However, I don’t suppose that the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine will be replaced. In any case, the facelift avatar will breathe a fresh lease of life into this MPV.
Kiger Facelift
Next up, we have the Kiger facelift on this list of upcoming Renault cars in India. Kiger represents an affordable compact SUV, which competes in an extremely tough segment. It comes with a sporty exterior design, a modern cabin and a peppy 1.0-litre petrol mill with and without a turbocharger. With the facelift, we can expect tweaked exterior styling with some new elements, along with a slightly modified interior layout. Needless to say, we could get some new features as well. Still, to keep the prices in check, there won’t be a whole host of changes.
New-Gen Duster
Finally, we know that the new-gen Duster will also join Renault’s India lineup by the first quarter of 2026. Duster was on sale in India until 2022. However, due to no upgrades, strict emission norms and stiff competition, it was discontinued. Now, the latest iteration of the Duster, which has already been launched in many international markets globally, will make its way to our shores by early 2026. It will bear a new and butch design along with a modern cabin. It remains to be seen which powertrain it will carry. Overall, these are the upcoming Renault cars people are excited about.
