Maruti Brezza vs Tata Nexon

Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon are two of the most popular compact SUVs in the country. Both of them have been selling like hotcakes. On one hand, the Brezza benefits from being a part of the largest carmaker in the country. It offers a dense sales and service network which offers peace of mind to the owners. On the other hand, the Nexon came into the limelight a few years ago when it became the first Indian vehicle to score a full 5-star safety rating at the Global NCAP back in 2018. In its latest avatar, it is more desirable than ever with a futuristic exterior styling, as well as the availability of the latest tech, connectivity and convenience features.

As you can see, there difference between the two is marginal. Author’s Note

The sheer success Maruti cars have enjoyed in our market for years is beyond perception. However, another trend is visible on the sales charts. SUVs are gaining massive traction among the car buyers in India. The fact that SUVs or cars with SUV-ish traits are being offered at attractive prices means that people are flocking to buy them at unprecedented levels. As a matter of fact, the share of SUVs in total PV sales was a jaw-dropping 49% in 2023. This is a clear indication that people love the road presence and practicality SUVs offer.
