There will only be 100 units of this unique iteration of the iconic super SUV
Rezvani has created a bulletproof Lamborghini Urus, which goes by Knight. The boutique exotic carmaker has made fighter jet-inspired vehicles in the past, establishing its unique and distinct identity. This time around, it has taken one of the fastest SUVs on the planet as a blank canvas to demonstrate its creativity. Rezvani has altered not just the exterior, but even the cabin of this Urus. More importantly, there is also a performance bump with added power in comparison to the stock Urus.
Bulletproof Lamborghini Urus – Rezvani Knight
The first thing one notices from the outside is the gunmetal grey paint, along with angular body panels. The hint of the original design is still recognizable. At the front, we see new slim LED DRLs which are evenly divided into three sections. Apart from that, the sloping bonnet line and the rugged bumper ooze adventure. On the sides, the flowing body creases lend it a unique vibe. Also, the 22-inch alloy wheels look relatively tiny due to the 33-inch all-terrain tyres.
The Dark Knight package adds bulletproof glass, body panels, underside explosive protection, military-spec run-flat tyres, a thermal night vision system, a steel ram bumper and reinforced suspension. On the inside, it gets gas masks, a first aid kit, a pepper spray dispenser, an intercom system, a handful of optional sirens, horns and strobe lights. In essence, the design has thought about every possible scenario and how the occupants can remain safe in all sorts of situations.
Specs and Price
Now the Rezvani Knight Bulletproof Lamborghini Urus uses a potent 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 mill, which, in this case, generates a mammoth 800 hp of maximum power. That is a full 143 hp more than the stock Urus. This propels the rugged SUV from 0 to 97 km/h (60 mph) in a mere 3 seconds. Note that there will only be 100 units of this unique product. Also, the price for this package alone is $149,000, which translates to Rs 1.27 Crore. Also, in India, the Urus retails for over Rs 5 Crore, on-road. It will definitely be a car for the collectors.
