Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Spied

The updated iteration of the famed SUV could bear aesthetic changes, as well as new in-cabin amenities

Updated on 16.12.2025 – The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift has been spotted testing yet again. In recent times, the test mules have been seen with camouflage in different parts of the country. Being a facelift, we don’t expect any radical changes to the exterior, interior or mechanicals. Still, there will be new design elements to distinguish it from the existing model. On the inside, we might experience some new features for added convenience. More details will emerge in the coming days.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Seen Road Testing Once Again

Updated on 11.12.2025 – The latest spy media captured the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N facelift wearing a thick camouflage. The images stem from evoindia. The large SUV is parked outside a hotel, perhaps during its road testing phase. Even though the body is wrapped, we can expect a few design tweaks to set it apart from the existing model. This could include things like new alloy wheels, redesigned bumpers and a few other elements on the fascia and tail section. Also, on the inside, we will reportedly see a panoramic sunroof, a new horizontal AC vent layout, an updated infotainment unit, and more. What will remain the same is the powertrain and transmission options, along with the off-roading capabilities.

EXCLUSIVE – Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Spied on Test: What We Expect to Change?

Originally published on 16.10.2025 – Since its launch in mid‑2022, the Mahindra Scorpio N has been nothing short of a stellar success. From booking milestones to sales charts, it has redefined expectations in its segment. In its very first day of online bookings, Scorpio N crossed 100,000 bookings within 30 minutes. Over roughly two years, it has sold well over 1.2 lakh units (Scorpio N + Scorpio Classic combined figures) and has helped Mahindra achieve record SUV wholesale numbers. Its commanding road presence, ladder‑frame ruggedness, and broad appeal have made it a benchmark. But Mahindra is now working on a facelift, and we’ve spotted test mules that suggest meaningful upgrades could be on the way.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Makes Spy Media Debut

A test mule believed to be the facelifted Scorpio N was recently spied travelling on a national highway near Ambala. The vehicle carried heavy camouflage all over. Given Mahindra’s usual protocol, this could suggest the car is heading for high‑altitude testing in the Himalayas, where performance, engine cooling, drivetrain, NVH and low‑temperature behavior are put under stress. It is common to send prototypes through such environments after basic highway and city testing.

What We Expect the Facelift to Bring

From analysing the pics, industry sources, Mahindra’s product update patterns, and feedback from current Scorpio N owners, here’s what I believe the facelift will bring to the table.

1. ADAS on More Trims

While the Scorpio N received an ADAS-equipped top-spec trim, chances are this safety suite would make it to more trims. Features likely to be added or upgraded include forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, and possibly lane keep assist. These will bring Scorpio N in parity with its more tech‑heavy rivals.

2. Bigger / Better Infotainment & Interior Upgrades
The current unit may give way to a larger touchscreen, with wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, improved UI/UX, perhaps a more premium theme on materials. Source reports also suggest better seat cushion & trim quality, maybe dual‑tone interiors in more variants.

3. Panoramic Sunroof & Comfort Features
There are strong suggestions that higher trims will receive a panoramic sunroof (or at least a larger dual‑pane one) and more comfort‑oriented features like rear seat ventilation, possibly a memory function for driver’s seat, improved air circulation, and better sound insulation. These are not just ‘nice‑to‑have’ but will enhance the long drives and multi‑terrain capability Scorpio N buyers expect.

4. Styling Tweaks & New Variants/Colours
Expect mild facelift in front fascia with refreshed bumper design, perhaps a new grille, sharper LED headlights or signature DRLs, revised alloy wheel designs. New colour options are likely. The aim will be to retain Scorpio’s rugged identity but give it additional premium cues.

5. Powertrain Retained, But Tuned
Sources indicate that Mahindra is unlikely to change engine line‑up: the 2.0‑litre turbo petrol and the 2.2‑litre diesel options will remain. However, refinements in NVH, slightly better fuel efficiency, or software tuning for better throttle response are possible. Also, improved drive modes, or more variants with automatic transmissions or 4WD could be expanded.

Rohit Khurana, Editor-in-Chief

The inclusion of modern driver aids, comfort upgrades, and interior refinement will address buyer feedback, while retaining the core strengths of ruggedness, space, off‑road chops that made Scorpio N a hit. For many buyers, that combination of toughness plus tech has been missing until now. The facelift could well make Scorpio N a more complete package.

Stay tuned for more on the updated Scorpio N!
