The method of celebrating wedding processions in India can vary from region to region
In a rather shocking chain of events, a Hyundai Alcazar owner was seen lighting firecrackers out of the sunroof of his SUV. Yes, you heard that right! People can go to extreme lengths while celebrating momentous occasions. This includes instances like Diwali, weddings, New Year, etc. When emotions run high, people often forget to take into consideration the consequences of their actions. One such case has come to the fore and doing rounds on the internet. Let us delve into the details here.
Hyundai Alcazar Owner Bursts Firecrackers From Sunroof
This video stems from theaxedrop on Instagram. We see a Hyundai Alcazar parked in the middle of the road during a wedding procession. This incident has been reported from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. People were celebrating all around. Suddenly, a man started bursting firecrackers from the car’s sunroof. Within seconds, the sparks flew near the vehicle. Before anyone could react, some firecrackers entered the car, and it caught fire.
What made things worse was that the two men lighting the firecrackers got trapped inside the burning car. The groom’s brother quickly rushed in, opened the door, and helped them escape. They suffered burns and injuries and are now receiving treatment. A large crowd gathered around the SUV, but clearly, the blame lies with the men who caused the fire. This is a clear example of how the lack of vigilance and responsibility can lead to tragedy within a matter of minutes.
My View
I have reported numerous cases of people doing reckless things on the road. Some do it for social media fame, while others do it just for fun. But such actions can be dangerous and put lives at risk. We must act responsibly in public and avoid such stunts. If you see anyone doing something unsafe, report it to the authorities instead of getting involved. I am sure that the owner of the car must have learnt a valuable and expensive lesson after this occurrence.

Having observed the Indian automotive landscape for over 15 years, I’ve seen countless cases of people treating cars as props for attention rather than appreciating them as precision-engineered machines. Incidents like this not only endanger lives but also damage the reputation of responsible car owners. As enthusiasts, we must remember that a vehicle is not a toy – it’s a tool that demands respect and responsibility.
