The Raymond CEO is known for being an avid automobile aficionado and loves to splurge on ostentatious vehicles
Raymond CEO Gautam Singhania was recently spotted driving his new Lamborghini Temerario hybrid sportscar. For the uninitiated, Gautam Singhania arguably has one of the most impressive and diverse car collections in the country. This ranges from age-old vintage cars to the latest hard-accelerating driving monsters. What is even more impressive is that we often spot him in public driving his own cars. In fact, he has even participated in some prestigious racing events. For now, let us check out the details of his supercar.
Raymond CEO Gautam Singhania Seen Driving Lamborghini Temerario
This post stems from VEE16 on YouTube. The visuals capture him in the driver’s seat of his Lamborghini Temerario. Interestingly, he is driving in front of his security convoy. Generally, you would find any VIP positioned somewhere in the middle of the convoy for safety reasons. Nevertheless, this is not the case on this occasion. Gautam has a Toyota Fortuner and a couple of Mahindra Scorpio Classic SUVs as part of the police escort for his security. Due to the lack of ground clearance, he is seen riding his supercar with utmost care.
Lamborghini Temerario
Note that the Temerario is the first super sports car from Lamborghini to possess a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo mill paired with three electric motors for a proper hybrid configuration. This setup generates a mammoth 920 PS and 730 Nm of peak power and torque (combined), respectively, which enables a 0-100 km/h acceleration sprint of a mere 2.7 seconds. The transmission duties are carried out by a sporty 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The top speed is limited to a jaw-dropping 343 km/h. It marks the second HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) from the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based Italian auto giant. Depending on personal preferences, there are numerous customization options.
Taking care of the handling and comfort, the supercar gets the double wishbone suspension setup at the front and rear with a Lamborghini magneride front and rear LMR damping system. Boosting the stopping power are CCB Plus carbon ceramic brakes with fixed monoblock aluminium calipers with 10 pistons at the front and 4 pistons are the rear. Lamborghini claims a stopping distance of 32 m from a speed of 100 km/h. In India, the ex-showroom price is Rs 6 Crore, while the on-road price in Mumbai is Rs 7.97 Crore.
