Biker Catches Cop Driving Without Seatbelt and Talking on Phone

Indian roads are full of unfathomable incidents and this latest case certainly qualifies as unique and oddly satisfying.

In a rather bizarre turn of events, a biker spots a cop driving the official Police car without a seatbelt and talking on the phone. I know this is quite ironic. The people who are entrusted to protect the law and order are the very ones who are disregarding these regulations. That is what makes this entire incident strange. Once the biker records the entire saga on camera, he ends up teaching them a lesson. I must admit, the chain of sequence is very satisfying. Let us delve into the specifics of this case.

Biker Catches Cop Driving without Seatbelt, Talking on Phone

The details of this post come from _oxford.diaries_ on Instagram. It captures the visuals of this incident. A biker is riding on the road with a camera to record everything. He could perhaps be a vlogger. In any case, he suddenly spots a Police vehicle. As he passes close to it, he observes that the traffic cop driving the car is not wearing a seatbelt. Furthermore, he is on the phone. That, understandably, infuriated the biker. Traffic police personnel are lost for words once the biker approaches and questions them.

The biker mentions that it is very shameful that the traffic cops themselves are displaying this malpractice of flouting the traffic regulations. One of the cops tries to offer a weak excuse that he received a sudden call. But that is just an unacceptable argument. The biker makes them stop on the side of the road and even takes the name and car number of these two cops. It remains to be seen what the consequence of this encounter is. I would like to see the cops being reprimanded for their acts.

Our View

Unfortunately, these incidents are rather common on Indian roads. It is terribly disappointing to see the officials flouting the traffic regulations like this. I can only advise our readers to never disregard traffic protocols. We lose lakhs of lives each year in road accidents. Most of these cases happen when the drivers don’t adhere to the rules. I urge our readers to encourage everyone around you to stick to the laws. Also, you must report the miscreants to the authorities so that appropriate action can be taken against them.
