Indian roads are infamous for being extremely dangerous, particularly due to people flouting regulations
A rather tragic case has emerged where the son of a prominent businessman allegedly crashed his Lamborghini Aventador and injured 6 people. We have seen on multiple occasions how careless some people from influential family backgrounds can be. Unfortunately, such cases keep on rising and via social media, we keep hearing about them relatively regularly. This seems like yet another case added to that concerning list. For now, let us get into the details of this latest instance.
Businessman’s Son Hits 6 People With His Lamborghini Aventador
As per the latest news reports, Shivam Mishra, son of Tobacco Tycoon KK Mishra, was involved in a serious accident with his Lamborghini Aventador. This crash occurred on the VIP Road in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday afternoon. As per the eyewitnesses, the Aventador was being driven at high speed. When the driver lost control, he ended up hitting an autorickshaw first and then collided with a Royal Enfield Bullet. Reportedly, the bike rider was thrown 10 feet in the air.
Furthermore, the visuals showcase the motorcycle underneath the tyre of the supercar. When the angry mob tried to take matters into their own hands, the bodyguards of Shivam started threatening and misbehaving with them. Finally, the Police arrived at the scene and rescued Shivam. More importantly, they transported the injured to the nearest hospital. The reports also suggest that Shivam was drunk when this accident took place. An investigation has been launched and the vehicle has been seized. I shall keep an eye out for how things shape up in the coming days.

Having tracked the Indian car ecosystem for well over a decade, incidents like this sadly underline a recurring problem, wealth and access to high-performance machines far outpacing driving discipline and accountability. Supercars on Indian roads demand far more responsibility than what our infrastructure and enforcement currently assume. If deterrence is to be real, investigations must go beyond token action and focus on exemplary punishment, irrespective of pedigree. Until then, such avoidable tragedies will keep staining both road safety and the image of luxury motoring in India.
