BYD Reaches 10000 EV Deliveries in India

The Chinese auto giant has been growing steadily in our market with some impressive sales

BYD has achieved a monumental milestone of delivering 10,000 EVs in India. The Chinese car marque has been expanding its portfolio in India. It offers some incredibly powerful vehicles at a relatively modest price range (in comparison to the luxury performance cars from Europe). That has been its unique selling point in India since the beginning. Cars like the Seal and Sealion 7 are for driving enthusiasts, the Atto 3 is for practicality and family use and eMAX 7 is an electric MPV. Hence, it caters to all sorts of buyer preferences. That is why it has been able to taste success in a competitive market like India.

BYD India has reached a major milestone with the delivery of its 10,000th electric vehicle in the country. This moment highlights the growing demand for cleaner mobility in India and reflects the brand’s focus on advanced EV technology. It also shows how quickly electric vehicles are gaining ground among Indian buyers. The company has not just focused on selling cars but also worked on building an ecosystem for its users. With 44 dealerships in key cities, after-sales service, roadside assistance, and extended warranty programs, BYD has set up strong support for customers. It has also partnered with Relux Electric to provide easy and reliable charging solutions. These steps together aim to make EV ownership smoother and more practical for users across India.

Globally, BYD is already a leader in new energy vehicles. The company has sold over 13 million EVs worldwide. By July 31, 2025, these sales helped prevent more than 106.52 billion kilograms of carbon emissions, equal to what nearly 1.77 billion trees can absorb. Its recognition in the Top 10 Most Valuable Global Automotive Brands list by Kantar BrandZ for three straight years further reflects its growing influence. The brand’s value is now USD 14.4 billion, showing a 43.6% rise in one year. Adding to this, BYD recently opened the world’s first all-terrain test track in Zhengzhou. It features an asphalt track, a wet skating section, steep slopes, sandy paths, and even surfaces that simulate snow and ice.

Every vehicle we put on the road reduces emissions, advances EV technology, and strengthens a sustainable mobility ecosystem. Referrals from existing customers have also contributed to this growth, underscoring the confidence and satisfaction they place in our brand. We remain committed to delivering world-class innovation, exceptional service, and products that truly meet the aspirations of Indian consumers.”
