No one really knows how many Porsches the car collection of Jerry Seinfeld holds. Nevertheless, we shall venture into his garage with the ones he has frequently been spotted in. His most beloved model is the 1959 Porsche 718 RSK Spyder. In fact, it has even appeared in his YouTube series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee with Kevin Hart. It is powered by a mid-mounted 1.5-litre boxer engine that makes 142 hp of peak power and weighs only 1,260 lbs. It won its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans multiple times and also the Targa Florio and European Hill Climb Championship. Needless to say, this model has numerous accolades to its name which is why it is the favorite of Jerry too.

This Porsche belongs to a completely different era compared to the previous model which is why it makes it to Jerry Seinfeld’s garage. The main attraction of this model is the fact that only 500 units were ever built making it one of the rarest Porsches around. Seinfeld said, “There is something about this car that feels perfect.”. This is the model that led to the creation of the ducktail spoiler. Needless to say, it was one of the best vehicles to drive in that era. Unfortunately, he was involved in a minor crash in his prized 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS with a BMW while the latter was parallel parking.

The next vintage Porsche in the collection of cars of Jerry Seinfeld is the 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. Again, this was also a popular model from the German performance carmaker. He once said about this model, “Seinfeld said before selling his 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. “You can’t drive a sonnet by Shakespeare or a symphony by Beethoven. But this would be the automotive equivalent.” This is an even more exclusive model as there were only 75 units ever built. Therefore, it could safely be concluded that Jerry has an eye for special edition models that go on to become super-rare vintage supercars.

The next rare vintage car in the collection of Jerry Seinfeld is the 1949 Porsche 356/2 Gmรผnd. The 356/1 was a prototype and the 356/2 has a hand-built production vehicle based on Volkswagen parts. It had a new cylinder head based on Strumboot design for light attack boats and an all-aluminum body. Being a proper classic vehicle, this model produced 35-40 hp of peak power, so it needed to be ultra-light. There were only 52 units ever built, and the one sitting in the garage of Jerry is numbered 40. The fact that there are so many rare beauties in the garage of Jerry is quite remarkable.
