DC2 is arguably the most recognized car modification house in India, which transforms all sorts of cars
This DC2 modified Kia Carnival demonstrates a slightly strange aspect of the aftermarket car modification industry. In the last few years, we have seen more and more players emerge in this space. This is thanks to the access to spare parts and components from all over the globe. DC2 has been in this business for over 3 decades now. Hence, it is a veteran in this field. That is the reason why you would see cars ranging from entry-level to high-end luxury vehicles being worked on by DC2 over the past many years. For now, let us glance at the details of this latest case.
DC2 Modified Kia Carnival
The details of this case emerge from dcdilipchhabria on Instagram. The visuals capture a car, which looks nothing like the Carnival. At the front, it gets a strange-looking grille section with main headlamps positioned horizontally on the bumper below. On the sides, we see an added cladding on the side panels to give it a bagged appearance. Finally, the tail section contains a connected LED taillamp bar, which transforms its entire styling in comparison to the stock model. However, the main talking point is what we see on the inside.
The entire cabin has undergone a thorough overhaul. There is clever and liberal use of premium materials for upholstery, floor and ambient lighting. Some of the top highlights include fold-out jump seats, wooden finish, new panels with ambient and sky lights, 24-inch captain seats with lounge-like comfortable seating, plenty of use of blingy metal, reclining seats with extended thigh support, fold-out tables, concealed charging dock, heated and cooled cup holders for your beverages, and much more. I must admit, getting inside this car looks like stepping into a world of luxury.
My View
I have been reporting about the uniquely customized vehicles by DC2 for a long time now. On most occasions, the exterior elements are questionable or too extreme for most people’s liking. However, there is no doubt that they do incredible in-cabin work. That is on full display even here. There is no way you can think that you are sitting in what used to be a relatively mass market vehicle. I hope to keep bringing more such cases to our readers in the times to come.
