Drunk Tata Altroz Driver Lands on Wall of House

It is quite shocking what people end up doing after losing their senses on public roads

In a rather tragic chain of events, a drunk Tata Altroz driver ended up landing on the wall of a house after getting involved in a crash. Note that Indian roads can be quite dangerous due to people flouting traffic regulations. That is why our roads are considered some of the most challenging in the world. Tata Motors makes extremely safe vehicles regardless of the price segment. Altroz bears the tag of being the only 5-star safety-rated premium hatchback in the country. However, that doesn’t warrant people misusing it.

The specifics of this case stem from thewhatup on Instagram from Hyderabad. The visuals are quite shocking, to say the least. We see a white-coloured Tata Altroz almost hanging in the air. It is delicately sitting on top of a wall of a house on the side of the road. In all honesty, it is hard to imagine how it got there. Nevertheless, the caption of this post mentions that the driver of this car was in an intoxicated state. He must’ve lost control while driving and ended up somehow reaching the top of the wall. It is possible that the car was travelling at high speed and went so far away from the road.

In the second part of the video, we see a crane pulling the Altroz out of the predicament. The harness is fastened around the car and it is carefully lifted in the air and brought down to the road safely. Thankfully, no reports mention any serious injury to anyone involved. Still, it begs the question of how the driver was able to reach this position. I believe it boils down to careless driving after being under the influence of chemicals. That is why one must almost avoid driving when he/she is not in their senses.

My View

Such situations, unfortunately, are getting more and more common these days. People often drive under the influence of substances and end up creating risk for themselves, as well as for others. It is high time we start adhering to the traffic regulations vehemently. Also, if you find anyone putting others’ lives in danger, make sure to report them to the authorities so that appropriate action can be taken against them. Let us pledge to make our roads safe.
