Hyundai launched the new-gen Verna a few weeks ago and people have already started taking it to the aftermarket car modification houses.
This has to be India’s first new-generation Hyundai Verna with neon wrap. Verna is one of the most iconic products in the mid-size sedan segment of the market. It has been around for ages as people have loved this product since its inception. Recently, there have been new competitors in the space to challenge its domination including the likes of VW Virtus and Skoda Slavia. The already successful and established Honda City has always been an arch-nemesis of the Verna anyway. But with its unique features, new powertrains and bold styling, Verna has been able to hold its own.

Hyundai Verna with Neon Wrap

In this video, the vlogger shows his brand-new Hyundai Verna which he has wrapped in a glowing neon wrap to enhance its attractiveness. He brings her mom to the car and captures her reaction. This is not the first time the vlogger has wrapped his car in a weird shade. Her mother knew this and anticipated this. As a result, she loves it. The wrap also has a red insert on the extreme edges of the bumpers introducing a sporty element. Finally, he shows it to her girlfriend who absolutely loved it.

Hyundai Verna comes with two powertrain options – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine making 115 PS / 144 Nm and 160 PS / 253 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. There are options of a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic with the former and a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission with the latter. The prices start at a cool Rs 10.90 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 17.38 lakh, ex-showroom.

We are always excited to experience unique customizations on popular cars. However, it must be noted that most exterior modifications on cars are illegal if they alter the characteristics of the cars. Also, painting a car or wrapping it in any other colour that is different from the original is not allowed. But there is the option of getting permission from the RTO and making the necessary changes to the registration certificate of the car. That is how you would be able to perform such unique wraps on your cars without breaking the law.
