She won a gold medal at the 2011 AIBA Women’s Youth & Junior World Boxing Championship and at the 2022 Istanbul and 2023 New Delhi IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships. Mahindra Gifts Thar to Nikhat Zareen

Honoured to @zareennikhat with the All-New Thar for winning Gold at World Women’s Boxing Championship 2023.” The boxing champion poses for a few pics with the legendary off-roader. The entire showroom staff gets in the special picture at the time of the delivery of the SUV. Nikhat follows the tradition of breaking a coconut on the car to ward off any evil energies. Gifting the car is a great gesture by the Indian auto giant. Previously, it had even done the same for Neeraj Chopra when he won an Olympic Gold.

The Mahindra Thar presents you with a choice between two distinct engine options. One of these is a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine, while the other is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The turbo-diesel variant delivers a maximum power of 130 PS and a torque of 320 Nm. On the flip side, the turbo-petrol version offers an output of 150 PS and 320 Nm of torque. You can pair both of these engines with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, which is equipped with a low-range transfer case for enhanced capabilities. Additionally, the vehicle boasts a locking centre differential, a feature that greatly aids its 4×4 capabilities. The Mahindra Thar is priced between Rs 10.54 lakh and Rs 16.78 lakh, ex-showroom.

We appreciate the support of the Indian auto giant to celebrate the incredible achievements of our sportspersons. In the case of Neeraj Chopra, Mahindra gave him an XUV700 with plenty of customized bits. It was pertaining to his personal records that got him the gold. That makes it quite unique, We are not sure if that is the case with Nikhat’s Thar as well. In any case, such support from prominent personalities acts as a validation and a sign of appreciation to keep performing well on the international stage for the country.
